Pets, especially dogs, have always been important members of the Klemm family. Many people know our Havanese Lola from her days spent greeting our clients at our real estate office to her own brand of delicious home made dog treats and handmade sweaters and toys at LolaBelle's Treats and Gifts! We have always believed in helping our less fortunate 4 footed furry friends. That is why we continue to work closely with the Ingleside Last Chance Rescue as a Foster Family! Sweet Precious Pearl the Poodle is approximately 2 and 1/2 years old. Unfortunately, Pearl was purchased from a local breeder and passed around from friend to friend. She was surrendered to Last Chance Rescue when it was discovered she was going to have puppies. Little Pearl came to us with her littler of 5 puppies for lots of love and support from the Rescue staff. After finding homes for her 5 pups she came to our home for fostering. Pearl really is a sweetie and really enjoys being in your lap and snuggling. She is still a little shy but is slowly coming out of her shell. We have even caught her smiling more than once! She is about 16 pounds but she is heavy with milk and has a pretty skinny body. We are going to get her dried up and a little weight on her then she will be spayed in early August. Pearl is working on housebreaking and crate training and she loves to sit up for special treats! She is doing GREAT with our other dogs, our cat and our kids! She is going to make someone a terrific addition to the family! So take a good look at Pearl and consider giving her the loving home she deserves!
